Verberate is an algorithmic reverb plugin that simulates real acoustic environments with extraordinary realism. The first Verberate version had already raised the bar. Version 2 introduces Verberate 1's Vivid Hall algorithm, which adds time offset to avoid tightening convolution-based reverbs while preserving the native high-density reverb tails. Actual acoustic environments will vary slightly due to air currents, moving performers, or movement in the audience. Although these changes appear subtle, the effect towards the end of the echo tail is noticeable because the sound is reflected multiple times before the echo tail disappears. The new Vivid Hall algorithm models these random variations without artifacts such as chorus effects or pitch changes and can therefore simulate real halls with a higher degree of realism.
