AI War 2 is a grand strategy / RTS hybrid against a galaxy already conquered by rogue AI. The other factions each have their own objectives, rules, units, and completely unique economies. Make the scenario complex enough and say, "World War II is going on, you're on a small farm in the middle of it, nobody likes you, but if you can kill that giant angry enemy leader, that's all over." If this seems over the top - and frankly this bit is tiring for us to imagine, even though some people are looking for it - take a break and perhaps break out the all-consuming computer virus as your ally and persuade the star-sized alien to watch your back while suddenly getting a less arrogant AI.

Modernized and supercharged. It's been a decade since the original AI War launched, and the gaming world has changed a lot - as has the computing power available on whatever device you're using to read this. We pulled out all the stops to make enemies tougher and smarter than before, and in many cases to create simulations of hundreds of thousands of units running at 120fps. You can speed up and slow down the simulation and pause it whenever you want, without any additional load on your CPU. The interface still respects your time by automating 95% of the things you will do. For the other 5%, there are advanced features like deploying spy nanites, changing or disabling automation rules, or redesigning your fleet compositions as many times as you want. Aerodynamic, but deeper. Sometimes when a sequel says it's "streamlined," it can really mean "silly." And in some areas here there are actually fewer smaller options: you don't have to decide how to wash each dish; You have a dishwasher. And honestly, it's a good thing you're doing it, because the rabbit hole of complex and confusing scenarios can go as deep as you want. All these pieces where you make interesting strategic decisions? These bits are tougher than ever and you can't go back to old boring habits to get involved. You need the attention to wait, to plan, to dream... and then to throw it all aside and find yourself by the seat of your pants when it all comes together. There's a lot to memorize (but the tooltips are always there, anyway) and there's always an element of the unusual. Clicking quickly won't help you.
