V faithfully recreates the Synclavier synthesizer/digital workstation elite that started it all, confessing the greatest hits and soundtracks of the early '80s with their signature avant-garde sound. If you were asking someone to name the Holy Grail of a synthesizer of the late '70s and early '80s, the most revered one would be New England Digital's Sync. The unique combination of additive synthesis and frequency modulation has given several keyboardists, producers, film composers and sound designers an exclusive advantage. Some of these rock-solid systems are still used today. Arturia recreated this sound in collaboration with original programmer Cameron Jones, who has the tremendous textures and creative palette of this classic instrument. There's nothing like the powerful sound of Synclavier V. The arsenal of synthesizers is complete without it. If the original instrument is allowed to mix four Partial Rings programmed into a predetermined Timbre, the recreation area Arturia increases twelvefold, increasing its creative possibilities exponentially. The Timeframe Engine allows complex audio changes over time, even by a few minutes, if desired. Program Synclavier V is a stylish work.
