Blue Cat Audio Blue Cats Destructor 1.51 is a powerful distortion and amp sim modeling tool that can simulate all types of distortion: from harsh digital destruction to smooth compression or guitar amplifier (works for clean tones too) and most importantly yours. Delivered with hundreds of presets and predefined patterns inspired by existing hardware (guitar and bass amplifiers or cabinets, compressors, pedals, tape machines…) or created by our disruptive minds. But the plugin is not limited to these predefined models: all parameters of the available presets are fully editable, giving you access to an unlimited number of distortion simulations - no need to buy extra presets or amp models to create your custom tone. Based on a perceptual model rather than electronic designs or impulse responses, the signal chain is reduced to the bare minimum, simplifying the process of adjusting tone and fitting it into the mix. Thanks to the special adaptive shaper, it responds to instrumentalists' playing and provides a very natural feel similar to analog gear. Packaged with over 1400 visual styles that can be selected individually for each module to match the look and frequency of the plugin to your favorite tones. It is also possible to import reference curves measured with Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst Multi for quick matching with existing tones.
