CaptureGRID 4 is a digital photography workflow application for tethered shooting, remote shooting and advanced camera control. Multi-Camera Control allows you to fully control and sync all your cameras simultaneously, including camera settings, triggering, live view, photo downloading and filename management. Networked Working allows you to increase the number of cameras and organize large multi-camera capture rigs. Supported Cameras CaptureGRID supports all new DSLR cameras from Canon and Nikon, as well as some cameras from the Sony Alpha series. We update the app regularly, so support for new cameras is added as they become available. The software uses a wired USB connection for direct communication with cameras using our custom-built PTP engine. This provides reliable camera control and fast photo downloads. Supported Computers The software also supports a wide range of hardware and can be adapted to make the most of available hardware resources. This means it can run even on single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi, while also being able to scale up and take advantage of high-performance multi-core workstation PCs and Macs. Networked Operation CaptureGRID allows you to connect and control multiple cameras by splitting USB connections across multiple computers. This means that the number of cameras is not limited by a single computer's USB hardware capabilities, but can instead be scaled up by adding more computers. When all computers are connected and synchronized, the user can run the application from just one of the computers to get a unified view of all cameras and photos and be able to perform operations on all cameras simultaneously.
