Info
Geekbench 5.2.1, provides a comprehensive set of benchmarks designed to quickly and accurately measure processor and memory performance. Designed to make benchmarks easy to run and understand, Geekbench takes the guesswork out of producing robust and reliable benchmarking results. CPU Benchmark Geekbench 5 measures your processor's single-core and multi-core power for everything from checking your email to taking a picture, playing music, or all at once. Geekbench 5вЂ's CPU benchmark measures performance in new application areas, including Augmented Reality and Machine Learning, so you know how close your system is to the cutting edge. Compute Benchmark with Compute Benchmark Test your system's gaming, rendering or video editing potential. Test the power of your GPUв™ with support for OpenCL, CUDA and Metal APIs. New to Geekbench 5 is support for next-generation cross-platform graphics and compute API Vulkan. Cross Platform Compare apples and oranges. Or Apples and Samsungs. Designed from the ground up for cross-platform comparisons, Geekbench 5 allows you to compare system performance across devices, operating systems, and processor architectures. Geekbench 5 supports Android, iOS, macOS, Windows and Linux. Geekbench Browser Upload your results to Geekbench Browser to share results with others or see how fast (or slow) your devices can go! Features
CPU Benchmark required:
- Geekbench 5 CPU Benchmark includes new benchmarks that model the challenges your system faces when running the latest applications. These tests use the latest technologies, including machine learning, augmented reality and computational photography.
- Geekbench 5 also increases the memory footprint of existing workloads to more accurately account for the impact of memory on CPU performance.
- Finally, Geekbench 5 CPU Benchmark includes new threads, multi-threaded benchmark modes, and allows threads to work collaboratively on one problem rather than separately on different problems. With the addition of different threading models, Geekbench 5 better captures the performance of different multi-threaded applications on personal computing devices.
- Geekbench 5 includes several improvements for GPU Compute Benchmark.
- The most exciting change is that Compute Benchmark now supports Vulkan along with Culda, Metal and OpenCL. Vulkan is the next generation cross-platform graphics and compute API. You can find Vulkan Compute Benchmarks on Android, Windows and Linux.
- Compute Benchmark also includes new benchmarks that model GPU-accelerated algorithms in modern applications. These include computer vision tasks such as Stereo Matching and augmented reality tasks such as Feature Matching
- Geekbench 5 includes a revamped results interface with full support for Dark Mode in macOS 10.14. Dark Mode support in iOS 13 will be available later this year.
- Geekbench 5 only leaves support for 64-bit, 32-bit processors and operating systems. Geekbench 5 does not include any compromises required to run on 32-bit systems. This allows Geekbench 5 to include more ambitious benchmarks with larger data sets and longer run times.
System Requirements
macOS 10.13 or later 64-bit
