Pastello is a new companion for JixiPix Impresso Pro. Pastello takes you back in time to the fifteenth century. It is both bright and subtle, away from dry color brushes and big movements. Leonardo da Vinci’s famous “dry color method” with black pencil, red and yellow paste is powerful in its simplicity and beauty. Later, artists painted portraits that mixed charm in a very gentle way. Several centuries later, pastels are full of bright colors and clear details. Fast forward to today and in the digital age, the artist has been able to mix colors in a traditional medium.
Pastello has a convenient workflow that automatically turns a photo into a pastel drawing and placed on an art paper with customization options. The cake can be changed to chalk, charcoal, colored pencil, graphite, Conte Crayon, or layer styles. Startup means delicate as traditional designs, then lets you create them with fills, shadows, and detail layers. Media are valuable as they are, or you can mix them for meaningful work.
Pastello features many traditional drawing styles and the DaVinci effect, using mixed media pencils, crayons, pencils and scrap paper. Easy to use!
