Keep It is an application for writing notes, keeping web links and documents and finding them again. On the Mac, Keep It, a separate app for iPhone and iPad, is the destination for all those things you’ll want to put somewhere; You can be sure to find them again later.

Take Note
Create notes with built-in styles that look good and read well on all your devices. It may include notes, checklists, bulleted and numbered lists, images, links, and other attachments.

Save Web Links
Save Web Links to Keep It, view them in the app, open in your browser, or save as a PDF for offline reading.

Files
Any type of file can be added to Keep It or saved in its folders and opened for editing in their original application. With iCloud, changes are automatically made available across all your Macs and iOS devices.

Preview and Edit
Keep produces thumbnails and summaries for most files, can edit its own notes, rich and plain text files, and shows previews for PDFs, images, web pages, and many other documents.

Search and Filter
Keep can search the contents of most files. Suggestions appear as you type; It allows you to narrow down results to exactly what you need or use natural language with keywords. Save searches for later use.

Tag Filter
Keep It’s Tag Filter makes finding things by tags a pleasure. Select a tag to see all tagged items and other related tags; Select another tag to examine it in more detail.

Folders
Folders allow you to organize items and packages hierarchically as needed. Select a folder to see everything in it.

Packages
When you need to keep things in one place, create a bundle. Items can be in multiple packages at once, and when you remove the package, everything stays in place.

Tags
Use labels to color code items for quick visual recognition. Tags are listed in the sidebar so you can quickly see everything by a specific tag.

Other Lists
Use the Recent users list to see things you’ve added or viewed recently, with the most recent shown at the top. Favorites provide quick access. Deleted Items are automatically removed after 30 days.

Compact Mode
In compact mode, Keep It for Mac becomes a single column, ideal for use with other apps or in split screen.

Works with Other Apps
There’s a lot that can be dragged into Keep It, and you can also add things from within various apps with Keep It’s sharing extension.
