Knorr is a plug-in that adds density and edge to a monophonic low-frequency sound source (such as bass). The algorithm adds tones to existing distortions in a way that is not possible with ordinary distortion or filtering.
Knorr Algorithm
The basic algorithm uses a combination of filtering, amplitude and frequency modulation to process incoming audio. Knorr was developed with bass in mind, but can be used on any monophonic audio source as long as there is audio content available in (and below) the low mids.
