KPlayer 2.0.1 is a video playing application. If 'H.264/HEVC Hardware Acceleration' is supported, it can play 1080p, 4K video files more smoothly. You can enjoy a movie in the concise interface with high quality subtitles displayed in a short time.
• 'H.264 / HEVC Hardware Acceleration' support¹ • 'Aspect Ratio Settings' support • 'Playback Speed Settings' support • 'Skip' support • 'Playlist' support² • 'Continuous Play' support • 'Move to Trash' support • 'Subtitles' (Sandbox²) - SMI supports SRT type. - Ruby tag also available. - Subtitles are displayed in real time even if it searches for the playback position in the time slider. - If it opens the video (file_name), it searches for subtitles and opens them (similar to this). Folder (file_name / file_name *) in the same folder or open manually from the same folder (file_name / file_name *). ▹ Only if it opens the BDMV's folder (folder_name / folder_name *) and then (file_name / file_name *) in the current 'P Folder', or manually open (folder_name / file_name *) or (file_name / file_name *) from anywhere. H.264 / HEVC Hardware Acceleration - 'H.264 Hardware Acceleration' may not be supported depending on CPU / GPU or file format. - 'HEVC (H.265) Hardware Acceleration' requires macOS 10.13 or later and latest processor. ▹ 6th (8-bit) / 7th (10-bit) Generation Intel CPU or above. - In 'Native' mode, M4V, MP4 or MOV types encoded with H.264 (8-bit) / HEVC (8-bit) and AAC / ALAC requires. In 'FFmpeg' mode, it requires video encoded as H. 264 (8 bit) / HEVC (8 or 10 bit). - The video track may not be supported if it is encoded with settings that macOS does not support. If not supported, playback and navigation may not be smooth depending on the CPU. (especially when playing 1080p, 4K) 2. Sandbox - If it does not open 'folders' but opens 'video files' and these 'files' are not in the following folder or its subfolders; 'P Folder' folders in 'Preferences', ▹ copy same subtitle files manually Does not support opening, ▹ and automatically creating the playlist from similar video files. - 'P Folder' option remembers folders once opened by this option. So even if it changes the current 'P Folder' value, it can still access the old 'P Folder' folders. 3. Playable Types - Does not support playing a protected video file. - When open the folder of BDMV, 'm2ts' files found in BDMV will be added to the playlist automatically. ▹ For example, if it is DSK / BDMV, please open the 'DSK' folder. - Video file encoded in 'YUV420P' pixel format can be played normally in Normal / FFmpeg mode. - 'Hacc', '10 -bit', 'Full' option is only valid in FFmpeg mode. And the '10-bit' option is only valid in FFmpeg mode without Hardware Acceleration (automatically in FFmpeg mode with Hardware Acceleration).
- Some menus have been moved to the side/bottom control bar.
