Info
LaunchControl is a full-featured launch GUI that allows you to manage and debug system and user services on your Mac. All documented features of launchd(8) are supported. It reports potential problems even before a job starts, ensuring you always create valid configurations. With LaunchControl you can see all services and their respective statuses at a glance. Invalid services are highlighted and a problem description is provided. You can enable or disable services with one click. The same goes for loading, unloading and soft start. A long job list can be filtered by job name and/or various characteristics, helping you instantly find what you are looking for. But LaunchControl isn't just another .plist editor. Provides a specific interface for each initialized configuration switch. Interface adaptable. Displays only information about the selected job. Don't waste time trying to figure out why a job isn't behaving as expected. LaunchControl does a comprehensive analysis of your business and is likely to find the problem right away and tell you how to fix it. It provides most of the functionality of the launchctl command-line utility, everything you need to create, edit, remove, or debug launch services, and even includes a log viewer so you don't have to launch Console.app and create custom queries. Sometimes it is desired to quickly load, unload, start or stop a job without searching for LaunchControl each time. QuickLaunch is a small menu that lives extra in your menu bar. Contains a list of selected jobs and their respective statuses. To add a job to this menu, select it in LaunchControl and select Job>QuickLaunch from the menu. This menu item is will be checked to indicate that it has been added. Clicking again will remove the job from the QuickLaunch menu again. launchd currently supports over 36 documented keys. LaunchControl makes it easy to discover them. Each key in the palette panel is annotated, so you don't need to refer to the manual page. Search for them by category, name, or description. Once you find it, drag an item from the palette section to the configuration section to add this key.
