Info
Morph Age is an application for transforming/warping images in OS X, such as faces, and saving the result in a QuickTime movie. Morph Age features many of the latest advances in image processing functions, including Smart Assist and interactive preview. It also supports prototyping and real-time motion curve editing/blending. Morph Age allows you to define curves in one or more images. Any changes made to the curves are reflected in the resulting image by the effect of distortion and corresponding operations. Incredibly fast based GPU rendering Press play and Morph Age plays in real time regardless of image size. Morph Age has an extremely fast rendering engine that combines CPU operations (optimized for Intel Mac) and GPU or graphics card power. It provides real-time display megapixel images with precise subpixels. In addition, even the latest version of Morph Age added support for the Mac OS X Core Image library for filtering, which is also implemented on the graphics card for maximum performance. Animation control Morph Age can animate warp curves independently, so different parts of the image move at different times (eyes, then ears, then mouth…). Additionally, animation effects such as elastic motion are also available. Morph Age shows the result in real time, so you can prototype the transformation quickly and easily. Nonlinear Transformations Transformations In the Morph era of non-linear transformations to transform, not only shapes and curves can be fully controlled, but also combined. Fusion indicates how much or percentage of the first image will be merged with the second image. In an animated tiger man, for example, it makes it possible to quickly show a man with a tiger skin while still having human features. Or in a man's project, he has 60/40 texture while 30/70 blend features for interesting effects. Sub pixel accuracy Morph Age has full support for zoom and pan functions. Morph Age offers sub-pixel accuracy, zooming allows precise placement of the curve. This enables fine-tuning of the curves that define the transformation, thus avoiding typical “ghost” effects processing applications. Fine tuning of the curve shown in real time in the preview pane interactive view. Zoom Zoom allows precise placement of the curve. This is necessary as Morph Age offers subpixel accuracy. The display of real-time preview is also expandable and helps in precise placement of the curve. Color Morph Age has color options that enable Hulk warp effects. This works by allowing the user to define a color for each curve independently that “bleeds” into parts of the underlying image. This bleeding of color constantly promotes deformation. The Layers Layers in Morph Age are a way of expressing that parts of the image lie on top of others. This is used to express that the chin is above the clothes, and when moved down, it should pass over the top (not under). Real-time processing Morph Age uses advanced GPU rendering techniques that enable real-time preview even for mega pixel images. Click play and see the image morph/warp in real time, regardless of its size. You can even move the curves that define the transformation as you play the animation. This makes it suitable for repeated insertion of curves because there is no delay in the transform cycle, making Morph Age ideal for quickly and easily creating prototypes to create the effect you want.
