To start a Free Trial or subscribe, open LYRX and right-click (Ctrl + click on Mac) the PT logo in the navigation browser pane (right side) to create an account and subscribe. Right-click on a karaoke song under the “Catalog” tab and select “Download to Offline Tracks” – or search for karaoke songs for streaming and load/play them! Built-in Karaoke Song Store NEW IN v1.4: Instantly purchase karaoke songs from the new in-app PartyTyme.net store! Karaoke songs are available in HD for $2.49 per track. Browse, search, purchase and download karaoke songs from the LYRX file browser so you never have to say “No” to singer song requests. Key Detection, Key Control and Independent Tempo LYRX will automatically detect the musical key (and camelot scale key) of your karaoke songs, so when you use the key stepper or apply key changes to songs when the singer is added to the rotation list, the karaoke track should be presented with the new/changed key. Independent tempo control allows you to speed up or slow down the track being played without affecting the pitch/key. Singer/Song History Singers and the songs they sing are saved in the singer history, including any significant changes when applied to the singer rotation list. Easily return singers and their songs to rotation from the singer history, including any major changes to future shows. Next Singers Screen When the deck is idle and not playing a karaoke or video file, LYRX displays your next three singers from the top of the singers list in the preview screen (main screen) and your secondary singers screen. This lets your singers know who's next, so you can avoid potential questions about whose turn it is. Registered MIC Support Use the microphone input on your audio interface to get the most out of what's playing on the LYRX – you'll hear it through your speakers along with the audio from the karaoke track playing. Save your medley debut performance to share with your friends! (If you are not using a dedicated Sound Card with microphone input, you can create a 'virtual audio device' on your MAC for Microphone Support) Text, Image and Video Overlays and/or Backgrounds Create Create stunning, multi-layered text, image and video overlays in LYRX that you can take up to screen 2 for your singers and audience to see. Use this feature for branding (display your logo) or any other images or messages you want to showcase. Use the video link feature to automatically play a video loop when audio-only songs are playing, or animate the 'next singers' screen with a background image or video loop. These new features provide a better, more visual and memorable experience for your audience! Auto Fill Music Player No dead air! The LYRX is equipped with an auto fill music player (AKA buffer music player) designed to automatically play regular music between singers and sets. Load the modified sidelist with normal audio tracks and click play in the filler audio player. When you stop playing the karaoke song or the song ends, the filler music player will gradually slow down - once you start the karaoke song the song will fade out so the party vibe never stops! KSR (Karaoke Singer Request) System The new KSR (Karaoke Singer Request) web app is now free and available for LYRX holders. The KSR system allows you to easily host your karaoke songbook online (note: currently supports up to 100,000 songs), allowing your karaoke singers to browse and search your karaoke catalog and make song requests you accept inside the LYRX singer rotation list. Since it is a web application, any internet-enabled device such as a singer's mobile phone, tablet or laptop will work. Leave the physical songbook at home and forget about printing hundreds of pages every time you update your karaoke music library. Enable the KSR service in the options, sync your songbook, be assigned your unique KSR ID, and your singers are ready to send karaoke song requests. It's that easy!
