Redesigned Command-Tab. We've redesigned Command-Tab to seamlessly switch between applications. Instantly switch apps based on their first letter only!
- The |⌘ command on the right side| and press the first letter of the app name to instantly focus the apps
- The dynamic algorithm will choose the most useful application for each letter.
- The algorithm will adapt to your workflow in real time
- If applications live in separate domains, rcmd will switch to that domain.
- To switch between areas the following setting must be enabled
- System Preferences --> Mission Control --> "When switching to an application, switch to a Space that has open windows for the application"
- When you press the key while focused on the application, you can use one of 2 useful functions.
- HIDE: Instantly show/hide app
- CONVERSION: Focus on other applications with the same first letter
- |⌘ command| hold + |⌥ option| and press any letter to permanently assign that letter to the currently focused application
- When an application is in the STATIC list
- assigned key can start the application when it is not running
- HIDE/OFFLINE setting can be adjusted on a per-application basis
- The Trigger setting allows you to change the Right Command trigger with any combination of modifiers
- This will be useful if you have a keyboard without a Right Command key
- disable rcmd saving of certain letters
- Click the Settings button to find the Active Keys setting
