SFTP Commander is a file transfer application with a lightweight but very functional user interface inspired by web browsers. Therefore, it has an address bar, 'back' and 'forward' buttons, and managing bookmarks and browsing history. Everything you need to use FTP/SFTP on macOS. The app is well integrated with the operating system and supports technologies such as drag and drop, Touch Bar, Notification Center and more. The application allows you to connect to the following server types • SFTP • FTP • FTPS – Implicit FTP over SSL/TLS • FTPES – open FTP over SSL/TLS Most Linux systems today support SFTP or FTPES (also called "open FTPS"). Public file archives that do not require additional security use FTP.
