SSDReporter 1.5.5 is an application that checks the health of your internal solid state drives (“SSD”, “Flash Storage”). Since SSDs have a limited lifespan determined by the number of write operations, it is important to pay attention to your SSD status. SSDReporter can alert you via email or on-screen whenever your SSD's health gets low and/or health drops below 'warning' or 'error' thresholds.
The current status of your SSDs can also be easily recognized at all times, because SSDReporter changes its icon (optionally in the menu bar) from green to yellow (warning threshold) and finally to red (error threshold) as the SSD status decreases. Note that only 'internal' SSDs are supported, disks connected via USB/FireWire/Thunderbolt/etc do not work with SSDReporter.
