Info
Texpad is a LaTeX editor designed for simple navigation, editing and typesetting in projects of any size. Open a LaTeX root file and Texpad will scan it, open all referenced files, extract the document structure for viewing in outline view, and configure the typesetter according to the packages and tools used by your document. Texpad's editor includes syntax highlighting, a variety of themes, auto-completion of commands including those defined in your document, auto-fill for cite and ref commands, and many other features. The powerful sidebar's document structure view lets you navigate large multi-file projects with ease. Additionally, Texpad's outline lists all labels, shapes, tables, to-do lists, and the search pane can search and replace your entire project using regular text searches or regular expression searches. TexpadTeX – Texpad's built-in, no internet connection required, comes with typesetter, PGF drivers, Native Fonts extensions, Unicode and more. These allow it to support almost all LaTeX packages available. TexpadTeX also integrates a BibteX tool and a Makeindex-compatible indexer for documents that require these tools. The integrated package manager takes care of downloading, installing and updating LaTeX packages for you, giving you access to nearly the entire LaTeX ecosystem without taking up undue space on your device. TexpadTeX can run in Live mode, updating the output as you type, so you don't have to wait for a string to finish again. In rare cases that are not compatible with TexpadTeX, you can use our free cloud typesetting programs. These are fully integrated into Texpad, so press typesetting and Texpad runs the typesetting in the Cloud, delivering the results just as if typed on your device. After the string, errors in your document are organized in an issues table. Tap an issue to jump directly to the offending line in the LaTeX source or to the line in the raw log if you want to read the original output. Texpad supports Markdown on par with LaTeX. Edit your document in Texpad's syntax highlighting editor, browse the document in outline, then hit Typeset and the document is transparently converted and typeset by LaTeX, combining the informal ease of Markdown with LaTeX's ability to create beautiful, high-quality PDFs. Likewise, Plain TeX users can edit and typeset their documents in Texpad.
