Broken Lines combines a tactical RPG with story-driven gameplay. As your soldiers battle the mental strain of battle, you'll need to command them in battle - will they run from the enemy or go head-to-head with their enemies? Combat is similar to a turn-based tactical RPG, but soldiers only move when the action phase begins. However, when new enemies and dangers appear, the game pauses to allow you to plan your reaction to this new change. Will you continue to move forward, or do you retreat and seek help? The choices you make will shape the story according to your desire to take it to a different campaign ending. Choose wisely, because your progress in the game will affect not only the soldiers you command, but also a region and everyone who lives there.
