Info
Paw is a full-featured and beautifully designed Mac application that makes interacting with REST services enjoyable. Whether you're an API producer or consumer, Paw helps you create HTTP requests, examine the server's response, and even generate client code.
Features
- Code Generation - Create your HTTP requests with Paw, try it out and copy and paste the code into your application. We support the most popular languages. Build your custom code generator via Extensions.
- Dynamic Values - Unleash your talents. Access data from previous responses so you can send back whatever the server returns. Compute hashes, authentication tokens, signatures, randomize data for testing, do some math, or anything else you want. Paw comes with a large set of Dynamic Values and you can write your own javascript via Extensions
- Environments - Parameterize your requests with Environment Variables, then seamlessly switch between Environments to give your variables different values. Ideal for setting up production or test servers or having multiple user profiles.
- Formatters - Time is of the essence. Paw helps you quickly create HTTP requests with formatters that match the type of input you need.
- Plugins - You can now easily extend the extensive features that Paw offers to create javascript-based Plugins. If you want to generate client code for your favorite yet exotic language or calculate custom authentication schemes on the fly, extensions offer a way to make that happen.
