Spec Ops: The Line is an action-packed Third Person Shooter that keeps a close eye on the heartstrings through an on-staff game mechanic. A provocative and gripping story challenges players' morality by placing them in the middle of unspeakable situations where unthinkable choices must be made that impact human lives. Players manage a team of three characters, Captain Martin Walker, Lieutenant Adams and Sergeant Lugo. Each character has their own unique personality and specialized skill, and each plays a role as we realistically explore the dark side of war, where there are no good outcomes, just hard choices. As missions are completed, more advanced weapons and equipment become available. Additionally, Dubai's desert environment actively influences level design and can be used to aid or hinder progression. The vertical interiors of Dubai's high-rise buildings also provide tactical advantages and risks that can be exploited by players. Multiplayer campaigns via Game Center introduce new modes and unusual situations to expand the single-player experience.
