Info
It was 1972 and a military coup shook Anchuria, a small country in Latin America. As a result, you, US citizen Angela Burnes, are trapped in the metropolitan capital of San Bavón. Your heaven has turned into a war zone. To get together, you start working as a cleaner. Every week, one hour before sunset, you clean the swanky bachelor pad of wealthy Gabriel Ortega. You're given a number of tasks to do, but the temptation to go through their belongings is irresistible. So what is he doing? As you get to know your mysterious absentee employer better, you become drawn into a rebellious conspiracy against the notorious dictator who rules the country with an iron fist. Sunset is a narrative-driven first-person exploration game focused on the discovery of clues to a story that unfolds as you play. Sunset takes inspiration from action games set in a war-like context, like many first-person shooters. What would life be like for NPCs in such games? How does it feel when war is the background of your daily life? Sunset is divided into 44 gaming sessions, each lasting a fictional hour: until the sun sets. You get a list of tasks you need to do each time. But there's more to do in the apartment. There are other activities such as reviewing the owner's possessions in search of information and interacting with their 1970s technological tools.
