iPassword is a strong password generator designed to evaluate the strength of password strings. It includes a strong password generator and a strong password checker. Instant visual feedback gives the user a way to increase the strength of their passwords, with a keen focus on breaking the typical bad habits of incorrect password formulation. Since there is no official weighting system, we created our own formulas to evaluate the overall strength of a given password. Please note that this application does not use the typical "days to crack" approach to strength determination. We found that the system in question was seriously incomplete and unreliable for real-world scenarios. This practice is neither perfect nor foolproof and should only be used as a loose guide in determining ways to improve the password creation process.
