Look Inside is an episodic narrative game in 2.5D based on the player's interactions in a book whose photographs and texts summarize the life of a French family at different times and periods of its life. You play Manon, the youngest of a French family she barely knows. When he discovers a book in the attic of his parents' house, he becomes immersed in their life stories. Manon's goal is to get to know her family in all the periods she did not know them and to reconstruct a complete family tree on the first page of the book. At the same time, we mix communication and memory, literary and graphic arts, and give the atmosphere of poetry to these people whom we know very well and very poorly. We don't want to make Look Inside a detective game; no mystery, no big family secret. We want to give the family an air of truth and simplicity. Our goal is to give the player a personalized experience with a variety of ways to solve fun little puzzles based on the reaction the game's objects have to the player's actions. We hope to make a small homecoming to these men and women who make us who we are, with KIN, praised for their qualities and flaws, but above all for their humanity.
