Info
Prehistorik 2 is the sequel to the platform game Prehistorik. It was developed in 1993 by Titus Interactive and DOS and Amstrad TBM. Like its predecessor, the main character of Prehistoric 2 is a caveman who goes in search of food, fights various animals, and ends up with humorous level bosses. The game is a simple platformer in which the player walks and jumps through levels and hits enemies in the head with a club. Points can be collected both by shaking enemies and collecting items (food, diamonds, video games, etc.). Levels contain hidden foods that can be discovered by hitting the right spots with the club. The creators added a lot of details to the game, which increased the fun factor. If the player runs a long distance and then stops, the caveman becomes out of breath. Controlling the game is very simple, just four arrow keys for movement and space bar as attack button. Instead of having to collect at least the right amount of food to get to the next level like in Prehistoric, in Prehistoric 2 the player just needs to be lighter to get to the next level. All in all, there are ten levels plus three bonus levels. There are various hidden secrets in this game, one reveals extra credits, and there's even a collection of holiday photos of the development team.
